About Dr. Levente GáspárHe graduated in 1972 from the Medical University of Debrecen.
Between 1972-1977 he worked at the Orthopaedic and Traumatological Department of Hajdú-Bihar County Hospital. Between 1977-2013 he worked as an Ortopaedic and Trauma surgeon at the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, University of Debrecen. He was the Deputy Director of the Department. Since 2013 he has been working at the Kenézy Gyula Hospital and Outpatient Clinic, and as a private Ortopaedic and Trauma surgeon. In 1976 and 1979 he took exams in Orthopaedic- and Trauma surgery. In 1996 he received his Ph.D. degree. He took part in teaching of Hungarian and English-speaking medical students and residents of the University of Debrecen. His professional activity covers the full range of Orthopaedic Surgery such as diagnostics, conservative and operative treatment of loco-motor system. His special field of interest is knee arthroscopy, hip- and knee joint replacement. He acquired the knowledge of arthroscopy and knee arthroplasty in Basel, Switzerland and at the University of New Hampshire, USA. Up till now he has preformed more than 7000 surgical procedures, including 1200 prosthetic implantations. He worked as an orthopaedic consultant on several occasions in a private clinic in New Castle, England. He took part in different international orthopaedic courses abroad 18 times. He attended more than a hundred national and international congresses where he presented more than 150 lectures. He is a member of “The society of doctors awarded with a mind-control training course degree.” His two children are also doctors. He passionately loves his job. His favorite pastime is travelling and playing tennis. He likes listening to music, being in nature, and helping his patients. |
